Hastelloy G30, a nickel-based alloy with a high chromium content, has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in the mixed environment of commercial phosphoric acid and many highly oxidizing acid media, such as nitric/hydrochloric acid, nitric/hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid.

Hastelloy G-35 is the advanced product of HastelloyG-30. It has excellent corrosion resistance in the wet phosphoric acid production environment, which is widely used in the production of fertilizers. In this environment, it is far better than HastelloyG-30 and stainless steel. It also resists partial corrosion of chloride-containing media and chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. The high chromium content makes it highly resistant to other oxidizing acids such as nitric acid and nitro-containing mixtures.

Hastelloy G-30 performs well in highly corrosive environments and is suitable for chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and environmental applications.

Hastelloy G-35 is primarily used in wet-process phosphoric acid production evaporators, pickling equipment using nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, caustic soda neutralization systems, and chemical systems involving nitric acid and chloride.
