PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Monel K500 is comparable to the Monel400 in corrosion resistance, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness than the 400. It also has good heat resistance and corrosion resistance and excellent structure stability. Compared with Monel400, Monel K500 alloy contains a mass fraction of 2.3%~3.15% aluminum AL and 0.3%~1.00% titanium Ti.
Monel K500 alloy low temperature plastic toughness is good, so cold processing will not feel any difficulties, but in the hot processing molding temperature is generally 871-1149 ℃, large variation between 1038~1149℃, the optimum temperature should be 1093 degrees, the alloy solution annealing temperature is 793-971 ℃. Good comprehensive performance can be obtained. The temperature of hot processing products should be 982 degrees, and cold processing products should be 1038 degrees, but the heating time should be shortened as much as possible.
